Tyre warmers??
The best we can do is put our tyres out in the sun.

Which is what I did for many years.
But we have TZs and Armstrong Rotaxs in 250 Forgotten Era in NSW and they are using tyre warmers.

mboddy, good photo
Looks like you have got the race face on.
I always mount the transponder inside the faring hoping it won't get smashed, downside of my idea, it is easy to take it home

I'll be interested to see if you get a log book with that swing arm...

Swing arm is no problem - TZ250 replicas permitted under forgotten era rules. No different from using using JMC or metmachex as all available in the period.

Always wanted to try one of those Metchamex swing arms but they had an ecentric chain adjuster which I believe changes the height of the axle position as the chain is adjusted, so theTZ one is the way to go.
Hopefully we will get a chance in 2009 to race with a few more interstaters. (Ya bike is a nice clean example. Nice work!)

Yeah Clean........for the moment !!
I have a front wheel/brake issue that I'm not happy about at the moment which I'm working on.
I will miss the Phillip Island Classic because of this (not prepared to risk it) but hopefully will get to meet you guys sometime this year on your own turf. Maybe get a posse up of locals to come on over to SA ???(Bud has a big bus....)
Don't forgot our big event at Eastern Creek at Easter this year - The Barry Sheene Festival of SPeed has P5/Forgotten Era 250 & 350 classes which has loads of LC's entered against period TZ's.
And we have managed to get limited camping at the track for interstate travellers. Garages accessable from Thursday arvo. Practice day friday, racing Sat & Sun with some big names racing and doing Parade laps.
