Carb Flanges
in the interest of keeping the forum alive, a copy of my post from the RD-LC webpage FYI:
rebuilt my bike today and was swearing at the airbox rubbers as usual, then I thought "how'd they fit these at the factory"
well, it was nearly 30 years ago, so the rubber would have been much more pliable then.
so I soaked them in hot water for a few minutes and
HEY PRESTO!
the bastards went in like a bought one...
obvious, but not to me!
p.s. started on the fourth kick, some six months after the blow up!

carby hoses
Hi 4LO hot water does work well on these hoses you can also use a heat gun if your careful all makes life a bit easier Cheers Gnome
