hello all,

i have finally bought myself a RD250lc today, been a long time since i had one, i was 17,
bike has been modified for racing only,
so i need to premix the fuel into the tank,
i was actually wondering what oil i should use, any recommendations, ??
what fuel i should use 91 octane or 98 and the petrol/oil ratio used for a standard 250
as i got a manual but doesnt seem to mention fuel ratio, standard bike usually mixes it for u, maybe i didnt read enough

hopefully someone here can help, thank you, any advice will be appreciated

Hi Neilstar You can run on standard 91 octane unleaded but i think most are running 98 octane.I use Castrol TTS 2Stroke oil and mix it at 30 to1 and have had no problem with it cheers gnome
